The Basics
Transportation Logistics
In order for the School to be approved for construction, it was necessary to assure Arapahoe County officials that there would be no cars queued onto Otero Avenue. As a result, the School has developed a drop-off and pick-up plan that accommodates everyone’s needs. Referenced as the Car Line Policy, this plan provides clear direction for the use of the two primary parking lots, school and church, with different lot assignments for those who carpool and those who do not. The Car Line Policy may be downloaded from this page by clicking on the link in the right sidebar, or from the Forms & Documents area of our Community Portal.
For those interested in carpooling, STM Catholic has made it easy. We have partnered with the Denver Regional Council of Governments and its Ride Arrangers SchoolPool program. SchoolPool is a free car pool matching program that will put you in touch with other STM Catholic families in your area. Every family is automatically included in this program unless they choose to opt-out. Opt-out forms are available through the Forms & Documents section of our Community Portal.
School Lunch
STM Catholic has partnered with OrderLunches.com, the leading web-based school lunch solution provider. This partnership provides our School and our parents with a secure, easy-to-use online lunch order, payment & distribution system. Parents use this system to purchase lunch for the upcoming month, then OrderLunches.com sends you an email reminder of your order with start and end dates included.
Milk is not distributed through the lunch program, but through a separate arrangement with Robinson Dairy, a local dairy supplier of fresh, wholesome milk. Parents need to place milk orders only twice a year, in August and December. Milk order forms may be downloaded from this page by clicking on the link in the right sidebar, or from the Forms & Documents area of our Community Portal.
Before & After School Care
The Lion’s Den is STM Catholic’s before and after school care program. This program is open from 6:30 a.m. until school starts at 7:50 a.m., and again in the afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. On non-school days (except holidays), Lion’s Den may be open all day from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. depending on enrollment. We invite you to visit the Lion’s Den to see us in action. Registration Forms may be downloaded from this page by clicking on the link in the right sidebar, or from the Forms & Documents area of our Community Portal.
