Dear Second Grade Families:

Hope you all had a great Weekend and are looking forward to the Christmas Break!

IMPORTANT: This Thursday, CHRISTMAS PARTIES will be in the classrooms from 2:15-2:45, with an INDOOR DISMISSAL; classrooms are small so please NO siblings and ONLY parents that signed up to help with the party please because of the size of our space. Thank you for your support and understanding.

We are asking for the students to try and remember their coats as we are entering the cold season. We try and go outside every day for recess if the temperature is 32 or above but sometimes we go out if the temperature is a few degrees below the 32 degree mark. If the temperature at 10:00 is 32 or below the students will need a heavier jacket for the day. If a student does not have an appropriate coat for the weather they will need to stay inside the office while we all go outside. We don’t want to leave any child behind from recess. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

There will be NO Spelling homework due this Thursday nor a Spelling Test on Friday due to Christmas Break coming up.  We will have a Social Studies test this Tuesday on Unit 4: People of Long Ago.  We will continue to focus on DIVISION all week.
