Dear Second Grade Families:
I hope you all had an enjoyable three day weekend!
Today is the Feast of St. Blaise. Therefore, we will be going to Mass, on Monday, and have our throats blessed. Please send your child in Mass dress. NO Mass on Tuesday.
We will have a Math test this Friday on Chapter 11, Money. We will go back to our weekly protocol and have Spelling homework due this Thursday with the Spelling Test this Thursday instead of Friday.
IMPORTANT: WEATHER REMINDER AND NEW ADDITION:
Please remember to send the girls in with either tights or leggings to cover their legs in the elements.
We are asking for the students to try and remember their coats as we are entering the cold season. We try and go outside every day for recess if the temperature is 32 or above but sometimes we go out if the temperature is a few degrees below the 32 degree mark. If the temperature at 10:00 is 32 or below the students will need a heavier jacket for the day. If a student does not have an appropriate coat for the weather they will need to stay inside the office while we all go outside. We don’t want to leave any child behind from recess. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
