FRIDAY, MAY 22:

Even if you don’t have any materials to drop off, please follow the scheduled arrival times so I can say goodbye and give a special treat to my last class EVER. I will miss you all so much and would like to at least give an “Air Hug” as you drive through!

Dear Parents,

Easy, easy last week of instruction for all of us! Please do not send any completed work to me. It’s just fun math and completing our Unit 11, Lesson 3 reading. No spelling words either. That being said, here are today’s assignments!

MATH

Solve the math problems and then color the picture according to the color chart.

Discuss: Comprehension Questions on pages 208-209

Read: Seasick on pages 210-211

Listen to: Sound/Spelling Card 39, er, ir, ur

Complete: Home Connection, Lesson 3

Big Idea: Who can be an artist?

WRITING: This week we are doing something a little different!

  • What things are on your “bucket list” for this summer? Please write down your list and share it with your family.

ZOOM MEETING THIS WEEK (Please note change in time.)

PICTURES

I love all the pictures! Please keep them coming!

MY HOURS

I am available for email communication ANYTIME!

JOKE OF THE DAY:

First graders (and Mrs. Cincilla) just love funny jokes and riddles! Give this one a try:

Question: Why does ice cream always get invited to the party?

Answer: It’s cool!

God,

bless our family

and all its members and

friends;

bind us together by your

love.

Give us kindness and

patience

to support each other;

and wisdom in all we do.

Let the gift of your peace

come into our hearts

and remain with us.

May we rejoice in your

blessings

for all our days.

Amen.
