Work on Stations of the Cross book. Please do Station 10 – Jesus is stripped of His garments
Look at Jesus. He is outside the city of Jerusalem now and standing on a hill called Calvary. The soldiers are going to crucify Him here. One of them is pulling off Jesus’ clothes. The clothes are sticking to Jesus’ sore back. It hurts when they are pulled off just as it hurts when somebody pulls a Band-Aid off a sore on your knee.
Step up close to Jesus. He stands there without His clothes. He is like a wrestler or boxer who takes off his ordinary clothes so he can fight better. Jesus is getting ready for a fight too. He is fighting against death and sin. He wants to win the fight. He wants to make it possible for all of us to have a life that lasts forever in heaven. We are on Jesus’ side and want Him to win. Whisper in your heart, “Jesus, I’m cheering for You.”
Dear Jesus…keep me strong in the battles I will have to fight to be good and true to You…and let me never forget that I can pray for Your help when I am at Mass with my family.

You Do Not Need to Worry
A Message inspired by Matthew 6
You do not need to worry.
Do not be afraid.
Worry will not add
A single second to your day.
The lilies do not worry.
They look up to the sky.
The sparrows do not worry.
They spread their wings and fly.
Sometimes there is sunshine.
Sometimes there is rain.
Be at peace, my little friend.
The sun will rise again.
Like the lilies you will grow.
Like the sparrows, you will soar.
God loves the earth and animals,
And loves you even more!
