WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE!
Hello, my name is Cheryl Cincilla and this is my thirteenth year of teaching at STM Catholic! I was hired for the 2006-07 school year and I am thrilled to be part of such a great school!
I hold a BA in Anthropology from Metropolitan State College of Denver, and in 2003 I decided to go back to school to pursue what had always been my vocation: elementary education. I enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program at Metro and completed the program and my student teaching in 2005. I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time in the high country with my family and friends.
In my class I teach through means of small and whole group instruction. I make every effort to provide students with their own level of instruction so that they will achieve success. I believe that learning has to be enjoyable and strive to embed math, science, and literacy skills in a fun and meaningful context.
I will keep you informed about our class through weekly blogs on this site. Please feel free to email me at email@example.com with any questions or concerns. I will promptly reply to you via email or voicemail within 24 hours. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
